Yalow Honors Scholar (Cohort 2021)

Majors: Biological Sciences, Studio Art
Minor: Spanish

I am in the Yalow Honors Scholars Program at Hunter College. At the Hunter Dolciani Math Learning Center, I tutor Calculus I & II. At SUNY Downstate medical school, I am a member of a lab where we conduct research in the field of plasma membrane repair to help those suffering from degenerative diseases. At Lenox Hill Hospital, I have shadowed physicians on Labor & Delivery and in the NICU. Additionally, as a hospital volunteer, I work with pediatric epilepsy patients. After completing my undergraduate studies, I intend to pursue an MD.
